The Horn of America Model 910EXT Drawer Extension is an expandable drop-leaf work surface designed exclusively to fit the left side of the Horn Model 9100 New Heights Height-Adjustable Sewing Table.

Functionality and Workspace Setup

• L-Shaped Workspace: Bridges the gap between the table and the open drawer to convert your standard setup into a spacious, L-shaped workspace.
• Left-Side Alignment: Securely hooks onto the top drawer when it is pulled open. It aligns perfectly with the left edge of the main desk and the right edge of the drawer to create a seamless extension layer.
• 
  Project Support: Provides the vital surface area needed on the left side of the machine to keep large quilts, heavy drapes, or embroidery fabrics from pulling or slipping off the table.

Mechanism and Installation

The 910EXT relies on a simple pin-alignment structure built by Horn of America for fast setup and breakdown: 

• Drawer Prep: Pull out the top soft-close drawer fully to reveal the factory-drilled pin holes on top.
• Mounting: Align the permanent pegs on the underside of the extension leaf with the corresponding holes along the table's left edge and the drawer's top edge.
• Locking: Press the leaf downward while pulling the drawer slightly toward you until all alignment pins click flush into position.
• Storage: When not in use, lift the leaf vertically up and slide it downward into the dedicated soft-close cubby slot under the main table surface.
