Imagine Applique Block of the Month: Discover

Every month join us to cut out and stitch together a cute and easy block.  Whether you want to master applique, or just relax and have some fun, join us!!

Class Description and Materials Needed

This month we will be using the ScanNCut to cut out the Discover block from the Art to Heart Imagine Applique Book, and stitch it out on your machine.  We will be providing the classroom ScanNCut to use, so all you have to bring is you sewing machine!

You will need the following to participate in class:

  • Your Sewing Machine
  • Thread to Match
  • Your Cord, Regular Sewing Foot (Or Monogramming foot if you prefer) and foot pedal
  • The Following Fabrics to Complete the project:
  • 1 Top Lefthand Block: 5.5" x 10.25"
  • 1 Top Right Block: 9.5" x 10.25"
  • 1 bottom piece: 14.5" x 4.75"
  • Red Scrap for Apple
  • 3 white strips for book pages
  • 3 colors for book bindings and the word Discover
  • A roll or sheets of Appli-Stick (Or preferred Applique Backing) to cut out Applique Pieces and apply with ease.
