Cookin' In Color Serger Apron

Class Information

In this class we will make this adorable apron while learning various techniques using your serger!  You will learn how to add a zipper, create a rolled hem and work with wooly nylon.

You will need:

  • Cookin' In Color Serger Apron Pattern (available in-store for $10.00)
  • Your 4-Thread serger (rentals are available)
  • Standard Foot
  • 5mm Cording Foot 
  • 4 matching standard serger threads (Maxi-Lock recommended)
  • 2 spools of matching wooly nylon thread
  • (1) 14 - 16 inch zipper
  • Fabric
    • Fabric A: 1/2 yard (main color, inside pocket)
    • Fabric B: 1/2 yard (to piece the waist band, outside pocket & loop)
    • Fabric C: Fat Quarter (upper and lower side)
    • Fabric D: 1/2 yard for lining
