Yoga Skirt on the Serger

Whether you wear this flirty little skirt for yoga or just around town, it’s cute as can be and whips up in no time.  Make the pattern from your measurements, cut, sew, and go.  Short or long, large, or small, this is a great way to use your serger and practice your coverstitch skills, if your machine has this capability.  (This can be done in a child size as well.  You need to know the waist and length measurements.)

Materials needed:

• 1 yard of 60” knit fabric for short skirt or more if you are making a longer one. (I used 1 ½ yds for the long version)
• 3 spools of serger thread
• Serger in good working condition
