Class Description

Did you know you could make a bag in the hoop on your embroidery machine?  This sling bag is made in the hoop, and you can join us in creating it!  Finished size is 7” x 11” a perfect size for your phone and keys, it even has credit card slots.  We will provide the machine for this project; you will need to provide everything else.  You must have everything cut and prepared prior to class.

Materials Needed:

• Skylar Sling Bag Pattern (available @ Schiller’s - $20)
• ½ yd batting or foam (Bosal was used on this sample)
• 1 yard outer fabric
• ¼ yard card slot fabric
• ½ yard lining fabric
• 10” x 20” fusible interfacing (SF101)
• 14 inch # 3 Zipper
• 2 – ¾ inch D rings
• 2- ¾ inch Swivel clasps
• ¾ inch Slide Buckle (opt)
• Fusible Fleece 4” x 4” piece
• Thread to match
