In this class, learn the history of the style of the 18th century petticoat, and how to make it! A petticoat in the 18th century, was just a term for a skirt. Many times at least 3 of them would be layed on top of eachother to give the typical sillouette for the time. We will be making a typical petticoat of the time, with spacing for your tie in pockets, and even go over typical simple embroidery and lapstitch seams. Come prepared for a class of history, and fun!
You will need:

- 3 Yards of Cotton or Linen. Plain colored, or patterned
- hand sewing needles
- 2 skeins of embroidery floss to match your fabric
- Drawstring for the Petticoat (cotton twill tape works well)
