Now introducing the Scout RX2. This is one of the newest Miele Robot Vacuum. Miele has come out with some great features for this model. This model features 3D smart navigation, Quattro cleaning system, mobile control, remote control, furniture protection, and non stop run time. This vacuum will run non stop in its set cleaning path for 60 minutes. Once it has exhausted its run time the Scout RX2 will return to its charging station until its next set run time.
Control this vacuums setting right from your mobile phone. Simply download the app set the floor plan, then set the time you would like it to start cleaning. Don't like the idea of the app? Not a problem use the provided remote control to start and set all your preferences. The RX2 uses 3D Navigation to clean all around and right in front of furniture, there are also sensors on this machine that keep it from falling down the stairs or bumping into things.
The Scout RX2 has four cleaning modes auto, turbo, spot and silent. Set the Scout RX2 out to what mode suits your needs for the day. Auto mode will have the Scout cleaning all accessible rooms on its own at its set time. Spot mode is perfect for when you have an area that needs to be picked up quickly. The scout will leave its station an Turbo mode will have the RX2 moving in its systematic path but further apart saving time which is great for cleaning in a hurry.
Quattro Cleaning Power: The suction system with its four special features guarantees first-class cleaning performance. 1. Sweeping side brushes carry coarse dirt under the appliance. 2. A roller brush then reliably catches this dirt and carries it to the front suction opening. 3. The rear suction opening ensures that fine dirt is removed thoroughly. 4. Thanks to a powerful blower, the dirt lands securely in the appliance's dust box.
3D Smart Navigation: Two front cameras give the Scout RX2 high-precision, three-dimensional object recognition. It measures the distances to potential obstructions automatically and navigates safely around them. This prevents furniture and objects from being damaged. Even complex room structures are not a problem with the Scout's 3D Smart Navigation.
Corner Brush: With its extending side brushes, the Scout RX2 can get right into the corners. The brushes clean along edges thoroughly. As soon as the Scout RX2 encounters an obstacle, the side brushes retract and it continues on its way without delay.
Dust box: Removing the dust box from the Scout RX2 is extremely convenient. Once you have opened the lid on the device, the box can be easily removed using the yellow handle.
AirClean Plus filter: The AirClean Plus filter ensures that dust and debris remains where it belongs: in the dust box. The effective filtration ensures particularly clean room air.
Sleek design: With its compact, slim body the Scout moves through your home with agility. It fits under low furniture with ease and is able to access other out-of-the-way places. Never has it been so easy to ensure cleanliness under beds, sideboards, and sofas.
Traversing onto carpet: With its powerful motor and anti-skid wheels, the Scout masters the transition from smooth floors to carpet without any problem. Even thresholds do not throw it off balance. So you can be reassured that the Miele robot vacuum cleaner will steadily follow its route – to clean your home effectively.
60 min non-stop: Thanks to a powerful lithium-ion battery, the Scout runs for longer on a single battery charge. If the battery charge is still not sufficient, the Scout returns to the charging station for recharging. It will then resume from where it left off – fully automatically.
Furniture Protection Technology: 7 optical sensors at the front of the Scout recognize furniture and other obstacles in the path of the robot vacuum cleaner. The Scout approaches these objects carefully in order to clean the floor directly in front of them. Collisions are reliably avoided. An additional 3 sensors underneath the appliance recognize steps in the floor in time and prevent the Scout from falling down stairs.
MobileControl: The Scout RX2 can be controlled conveniently using a smartphone or tablet app1 while you're on the go. There are various convenient functions available. For example, a different "start of operation" can be programmed for the Scout using the timer. The map view allows you to track the cleaning process at any time.
Timer: With the Scout you can program the floor cleaning times individually. You can have it work, for instance, when you are not even at home. The Scout will begin cleaning at the selected time. The appliance then returns to the base station on its own to recharge the battery. So feel free to go out while the Scout cleans your home.
Remote control: Would you like the Scout to deviate from its automated path? No problem – with the remote control provided, you can also operate the robot vacuum cleaner yourself. With simple commands, the Scout can be guided directly to specified areas, which it then cleans thoroughly.
Silent mode: In this program mode, the Scout RX2 cleans in an especially quiet manner. This is particularly nice when you want to relax at home and have the house gleaming at the same time.
Auto mode: In Auto mode, the Scout cleans all accessible rooms completely on its own: it leaves its charging station, cleans the desired floor areas, and returns to its charging station. If the battery charge is not sufficient for all areas, the Scout interrupts the cleaning process in order to charge its batteries at the station. After recharging, it continues the cleaning process, returning to the exact location where it previously stopped cleaning.
Spot Mode: Crumbs under the breakfast table? Dog hair in front of the sofa? The Scout even takes care of these little mishaps for you: simply activate the Spot mode and the Scout cleans a target area of about 180 x 180 cm.
Turbo mode: For quick cleaning in between the Scout offers the Turbo mode: here the Miele robot vacuum cleaner moves in its systematic path but further apart to save time. Really great if time is of the essence.
