The Emu sewing cabinet will make a perfect center island for your craft room. The Emu sewing and craft table stands 36" tall & offers a spacious 24" x 12" opening with an airlift mechanism featuring three positions, that can move your sewing machine or serger up and down into the perfect position with an easy push down of the lift surface. The lift will support 55lb sewing machine. The height adjustable sewing machine platform allows you to change the height based on your sewing machine's measurements.

Place the included wood cover over the sewing machine well and place a rotary mat on the cabinet top surface to create a cutting space. The two side leaves provided will give you ample space and allow you to spread our your various projects.

If you rotate your Emu cabinet 180° you will find ample storage including 5 drawers and 4 shelves for all your sewing notions & fabrics. When you have completed your projects, close the doors, drop the leaves to the sides and place the cover over the sewing well. Now you can easily hide your Emu cabinet with your projects neatly & securely tucked away inside.

The sewing machine platform is height adjustable allowing you to adjust the height based on your sewing machine's dimensions.

The Emu sewing cabinet rests on casters, allowing you it to move from the center of your sewing room to any wall. Once you have your Emu in the place you can lock down the casters to keep the cabinet from shifting.

This items is freight intensive and cannot be shipped free freight.

This unit will typically ship RTA (Ready To Assemble). The Emu is shipped in 5 boxes.

We do strongly recommend White Glove Delivery which include both complete assembly of the unit as well as room of your choice delivery for the relatively small additional charge.

SEWING MACHINES THAT DO NOT FIT EMU SEWING CABINET

We are aware of the following sewing machines that are too large to fit into the Emu Cabinet:

BabyLock – Destiny and Solaris
Brother – Dream VX8500D and Luminaire Innov-is XP1
Sewing machines that will fit, but have special requirements:
Janome – Horizon Memory Craft 15,000
- The machine fits the platform of the cabinet in flatbed position (a custom insert is available) but you will have to move the sewing machine from right to left to lower into the storage position because of the extension of the front support leg of the machine. Also, the knee lifter lever cannot be used with a sewing cabinet due to the length of the lever and how the machine sits on the platform in flatbed position.
Elna – eXpressive 920
- The machine fits the platform of the cabinet in flatbed position (a custom insert is available) but you will have to move the sewing machine from right to left to lower into the storage position because of the extension of the front support leg of the machine. Also, the knee lifter lever cannot be used with a sewing cabinet due to the length of the lever and how the machine sits on the platform in flatbed position.
