It is strongly recommended with all non-Brother hoops that you do a trial layout to make sure the design is centered and that the presser foot and needle do not hit the hoop. Your console screen will only recognize Brother hoops, not Fast Frames, Quick Snap or Purse hoops, but that does not affect your machines ability to use these non-Brother hoops.  Your machine will register that the "large" hoop is installed.
