These Tampico and cocoa bristles are similar to hand scrub brushes and are designed for deep heavy duty cleaning. They should never be used directly on wood, carpeting or other delicate surfaces. They work as a base support for all of the pads. The different pads should be mounted directly on the scrubbing brushes and secured with the pad retainers.
