The Miele SEB 228 Powerbrush fits between the 236 and 217-3 power heads.  The Miele Electro Plus direct connect powerbrush model SEB 228 is designed for consistant, aggressive brushing action to deep clean all heights of carpets. Positive power transfer to the brush roll is provided by a cog belt which can't stretch nor slip. A special two-way swivel in the wand connector makes this powerbrush very easy to steer and maneuver for greater ease of use

A separate motor in the head drives the 14” brush roll at different desired suction levels and up to 5 different height setting. This head was built for customers who have mostly carpet and are looking for an aggressive power head to achieve the deepest of cleaning. The 228 even has automatic shut off when encountering brush roll blockage to prevent damage to the power head and vacuum.
