Class Description and Materials Needed

This class followed us home from Baby Lock Tech!  It was designed and created by the ever so talented Deb Canham.  We will be building a basket that is 7" in length, width of 5" and height of 3.75".  It's cute, handy and easy to make!

We will be using a flat lock, wave stitche, chain stitch, and more! 

You will need:

  • Your Cover hem and Chain Stitch capable Overlock. (We love our Triumphs!)
  • 8 Jelly Roll strips cut in half to measure 22" x 2.5"
  • Sew Fab Foam or Fusible Foam (We carry the Sew Fab in Store) 22" x 10"
  • 2 pieces of carboard at least paper sized, or a piece of StitchNShape from Floriani
  • 2 12 weight decorative thread (Or Cotton is fine too)
  • 3 serger threads to match
  • cording 3/16" 30 inches (We have some if you need)
  • Cording Foot and Regular Serger Foot
  • Button to hold flower (7/8" button)
