Class Description and Materials Needed

This is a Virtual class over Zoom.  Your zoom passcode will be sent the day before the class.  Check your spam if you do not see the passcode email!

The class will be recorded and emails to all who participated in the class.

This class will go over the basics on how to take a quilt and quilt it on your embroidery machine in a few different methods. We will go over how to use edge to edge quilting with Amelie Scott Designs, some of the built in designs on the Luminaire and more!

To follow with the class, you will need:
-An embroidery machine capable of doing AT LEAST an 8" x 12" Hoop.
-a "Quilt Sandwich" of at least 36" x 24" (Plain fabric with batting and backing.  Leave the batting and backing bigger than the top by a few inches) DO NOT bring a beautiful quilt top if this is your first time doing this method.  Scrap fabrics work best for a newbie!
-Your 8" x 12" Hoop or 9.5" x 14" Hoop. (Magnetic hoops are best!)
-Thread and bobbin to match your quilt.  You can use cotton thread.  We prefer Aurifil.  Your bobbin should match the weight of your thread.
-Your Embroidery Arm
-Your Sewing Bobbin Case
