Class Description and Materials Needed

This class is a great purse, and a great intro to cork if you've never tried it! It has a recessed zipper, a hidden zipper pocket, pocket with a clasp on the front, and 2 pockets inside!  Strap is adjustable, and it has a gusset.

Finished purse is about 11" Wide x 10" High and 2" Deep

You will need:

  • Your sewing machine
  • The Lucy Crossbody Pattern
  • A twist or Flip Lock
  • (2) 14" zippers (or longer)
  • 1" Rectangle Bar Slide and Rectangle Ring
  • Matching Thread
  • 1/4" Steam a Seam 2
  • 3/4 Yard Decorbond
  • 5/8 Yard Cotton for Outside
  • 1/2 Yard Cotton for Lining
  • (1) 18" x 27" Piece of Cork

Please cut all fabrics to instructions on page 1.  Please fuse all decorbond to corresponding pieces BEFORE class.  Also fuse the 1/4" Steam a Seam 2 onto Pieces P (Directions for this are on page 10) Bfeore class!
