Schiller’s is proud to once again partner with Baby Lock Sewing Machines in offering a hands-on, sewing kid's camp developed just for children ages 8-13. For one week (5 days), three hours a day, they will learn and develop sewing skills (and create some really cool projects). All materials will be provided. Your child can either use one of our sewing machines (we will be using and highlighting the Baby Lock Joy sewing machine) or they can bring their own (please make sure that it is working perfectly).
The class you select should be based on the initial sewing skills of your child. Each class is limited to only 6 students. The cost for this camp is only $99. The Baby Lock Joy will be available to students at a discounted price of $199 (Suggested retail is $299).
This camp for this week is for “Beginners”: Children in this class initially have little or no sewing skills. They will learn the basics of how a sewing machine functions, how to thread the machine and basic sewing functions.
They will make at least three different projects over the course of the week. Projects will be announced soon.
This camp will be offered once each month during the summer months of July and August.
