Broomhilda's Bakery Sewing Technique: Class 5 Picture Blocks

Class Description and Materials Needed

In this class we will be working with vinyl, glitter, lettering, prairie points and a TON of other great sewing techniques.

Your Broomhilda Sewing or Embroidery Book
Sewing Thread to Match your Applique AND Black for lettering
A Fabric Class 5 Kit OR the following Fabrics

- (2) 5.5" x 6.25" Background in White
- (1) 18.5" x 1.25" in Purple for Plate
- (1) 4" x 20" in Purple for Prairie Points
- (1) 7.5" x 5" in Purple With Appli-Stick for Plate Base
- (2) 3" x 5.5" in Red for Apple with Appli-Stick
- (2) 5.5" x 3.5" in Light Brown for Caramel with Appli-Stick
- (2) 2" x 5" in Brown for Stick with Appli-Stick
- (3) 3" x 3" in White for Frog's Eyes and Thought Bubble with Appli-Stick
- (2) 5.5" x 4" for Frogs in Fusible Glitter
- (2) 5.5" x 7.5" in Vinyl for Jars
- (1) 7" x 5" in Purple for Jar Base with Appli-Stick

Classroom Rules and Regulations

-All classes require a registration, whether or not they are for a charge. Walk-ins for classes are not allowed.

-Cancellations will not be refunded if within 24 hours before a scheduled class. Any class costing more than $49, 72 hours are needed. Any class equal or more than $149 is a week. Most of these larger events require us to order food and other items ahead of time. Classes that we cancel due to weather or other issues will be refunded to you no matter the timeframe. Persons registered cannot switch for another person without giving the store a call. We usually have a waiting list, so it would need to go to the list first.

-Please come with all materials needed for class. If you come unprepared, which will include materials being cut out or any other prep work, chances are you will not be able to participate in class.

-Machine rentals for classes are a first come first serve. You must call the store to reserve a machine. You may or may not get a specific model due to the style of the class or what we have available. You are still required to bring any other materials required in class with a machine rental.

Pricing is as following:

Kid’s Rental: Free

Sewing Machine: $10

Serger: $15

Embroidery Machine: $20

Luminaire or Solaris: $25

-We ask that cell phones are silenced during class. If you need to take or make a call, please step outside the classroom area. It can be very disruptive during a class.

-Lessons must be scheduled. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to sit down for a lesson for any walk in, before or after a class. Classes require both set up and break down. Lessons when scheduled will not exceed an hour’s length. Lessons are free when it comes to the workings of your machine purchased with us. If you need a garment fitting, or another specialty lesson, a fee may apply.

-Please do not show up more than 15 minutes before a scheduled class. Classes than run more than 45 minutes over may have to have a reschedule date or lessons for those not finished.

-Classes with less than 2 people may have to be canceled. If this is so, you will be refunded your fee.
