What is fringe embroidery? Fringe embroidery is a really fun dimensional technique. It allows you to cut your threads to make them look like they are fringe coming right out of the design! All you need is a few designs meant for fringe embroidery, and you can really make your project pop! We will be stitching out a few fringe designs and going over how to cut your threads, what stabilizers to use and how even to digitize your own fringe!
What you will need:
-Your embroidery Machine (even a 4X4 machine will work!)
-An embroidery hoop of at least a 4X4 (bring a few hoops of different sizes!)
-Some pieces of 12" x12" cotton fabric to embroider our fringe on
-If you have any fringe designs, please bring them! (Like the Kimberbell Fun with Fringe CD)
We will provide stabilizer and some basic designs to complete the class. Ideally, we would like to be able to embroider on an 8x8 area, so bring down that bigger machine if you can!
