Twirl Into Spring - Watering Can

Come join us for a Scan N’ Cut class where we can make this beautiful watering can with flowers. We will be scanning in our pattern, cleaning it up, and cutting out our pieces to applique onto our background!

Materials needed:

• Pattern: Ribbon Candy Quilting Company's Twirl into Spring Seasonal Skinnies (Can be purchased at Schiller’s for $10.00)
• Your Scan N’ Cut
• Scanning Mat
• Fabric Mat
• Appli-stick
• Coordinating Thread (if time permits)
• 6 buttons to place in the middle of flowers (½” – ¾”)

Fabric:

• (one) 10 ½” x 24 ½” – background piece
• (two) 2 ½” x 42” strips – Borders
• (two) 2 ¼” x 42” strips- Binding
• Fabric scraps for applique:
  • Flowers require 4 “ square scraps, there are 5 flowers
  • Pieced flower requires 2"x3" scraps, there are  5 petals
  • Watering can requires 6” square for middle, 13" square for remainder
  • Leaves require 2"x3" inch scraps , there are 4 leaves
