Serger Basics

We ran this class in preparation for our Gail Yellen event.  There was so much demand we are modifying this class into a "Serger Basics" class.  This class is effectively a “getting to know your serger crash course” to help alleviate some of the anxiety that we know can occur when you purchase a new machine or perhaps haven’t used a machine in a while…  

We will be making two small projects (or maybe three if we have time)!   You will be excited to know how much fun and how simple it is to make these projects.  We will familiarize you with the threading procedure for your machine and give you the confidence you need to complete a business card holder and a zippered bag.  Yes, install a zipper with your serger!  You can do it!!  These projects are from a wonderful book called “Ready, Set, Serge”.  If you have this book, bring it to class!  There are many more projects in the book for you to complete but we only have a couple of hours!
