Is machine embroidery your passion (or do you want it to be)? Do you love to have FUN? Do you want to learn new tips and tricks to Make YOUR Hobby MORE Enjoyable? Do you want to laugh and have a GOOD TIME? Then come join Us for TWO FULL DAYS OF FUN, INSPIRATION AND EDUCATION.
Tell Me More…
This is a two-day, hands-on, event using Brother Dream Machine (the latest embroidery/sewing machine from Brother Sewing Machine).
This event is for both absolute novice as well as experienced sewing/embroidery enthusiasts. Attendees will work in groups of 3 per machine so that each attendee has time to create two projects, time allowing.
For each hands-on project, the educator will be explaining why certain products were used and the important difference in Floriani stabilizers vs other brands on the market. Additionally, Floriani software will be highlighted in how it can be used to create these projects and so much more.
At any time, you may ask the educator questions about these products and throughout the two days, you will have many opportunities to ask specific questions regarding software, thread, needles, etc. The educator will also discuss why these projects have been enhanced by the use of the Brother Dream Machine.
For new embroiderers we will start with the basics in machine embroidery including information about the different types of stabilizers and other related products and how and where to use them. As the event progresses more advanced techniques will be covered.
Kathi Quinn, Floriani's lead educator, will be conducting this event. Like all Floriani educators, she is always open to whatever questions you may have, and will offer help if there's a specific topic you have in mind. Although the techniques and methods taught in each project will be applicable to variety of machines, the specific technical details may highlight Brother's Dream Machine that you will be using and its unique features.
Also, due to the workshop groups described above, you'll be able to pick up practical tips and tricks that your fellow attendees may know along the way. Be sure to bring a note pad for anything you want to write down and taking pictures with your phone or camera is welcome as well in case you want a visual reminder for later.
On Thursday evening (July 20th) we will be kicking off the event with a meet and greet (plus hors d'oeuvres) with a very special guest! This is not an event to be missed.
