Hello Sunshine Sewing Technique BOM: 3D Flowers and Fringe

We will be making 3 blocks in class complete with fringe work with the fringe foot, simulated hand stitching with our sewing machines, applique, prarie points and dimensional felt flowers.  This is a part of the Hello Sunshine Quilt, and will be eventually put together into the full quilt.  If you missed previous classes, we do have fabric kits available so you can catch up.

You will need to bring the following to participate in class:

• Your Sewing Machine (Foot petal, cord, sewing foot and everything you typically use with your machine)
• A Fringe Foot (We will have those available to borrow and purchase if you do not have one)
• Thread to match flower greenery, flowers and fringe. (Cotton or all purpose thread works best)
• A Fabric kit from the store OR ALL of the following to complete the blocks
• 1 of each of the background blocks in Yellow: 8.5" x 6.5", 10.5" x 8.5" and 10.5" x 12.5"
• 1 of each of the following for Applique Leaves in Green (Please back with applique backing) 2" x 3.5", 3" x 3.5" and 3" x 3.5"
• 1 each of the following in green for Prairie Points: 5" x 5", 5" x 7.5", and 5" x 12.5"
• 1 Appliue pink flower with applique backing: 3.5" x 3.5"
• 3 pieces wool to create flowers in 3 different colors: all 9" x 12"
• 3 buttons for flower centers
