Sampler Quilt using the AccuQuilt Go!

Don’t worry, you don’t have to own an AccuQuilt, but when you try ours, you will want one!!

   The AccuQuilt Go! Fabric Cutter is a must-have tool for your sewing room.  You will save hours of cutting time and have precise and accurate pieces, allowing you to spend more time doing what you love, creating beautiful quilts.  Its space-saving design makes it easy to store as well as take to classes, guild meetings, retreats and quilting bees.  You can mix and match the full line of Go! dies, from geometrics to appliqué to strips, to create an infinite number of blocks and patterns.  The possibilities are endless!!

  
The Go! Fabric Cutter comes with a free die and cutting mat so you are ready to start quilting right out of the box!  This die includes a 4 ½” square, a 2 ½” square and a half square 2” finished triangle.  We used only this included die to make the pieced blocks in this quilt, so if you have your own Go! Cutter and would like to join us, you do not need to purchase any additional dies. 

Remember, you do not need to own your own AccuQuilt Go! cutter to come to class, you are welcome to use ours.  (But we hope you will want to buy your own)!  Before you know it, you will be all cut and ready to start sewing!

Materials List

Please use good quality cottons for your best results

   For my sampler quilt I made only 6 pieced blocks, 2 solid squares and 10 triangles.  There are only 3 fabrics in the quilt.  You may wish to make more blocks to increase the size to a lap quilt or larger.  This will determine how much of each fabric you will need.  I used approximately 1 yard of the pink fabric (pieced and solid blocks and triangles), 1 ½ yards of the dark purple (pieced blocks, backing and binding) and ¼ yard of the light purple (pieced blocks). 

  
If you have your own Go! cutter, please bring it to class with the die that came with it, along with your chosen fabrics.  If you aren’t lucky enough to own an AccuQuilt Go! yet, just bring along your fabrics. To all of the class attendees, we will be offering 10% off the regular Go! price bringing your cost down to only $314.00, and all of the Go! dies will also be 10% off.  This will be a great opportunity for you to purchase one. 

  
With the AccuQuilt Go!
