It’s an open and shut case!  Snap it open—snap it closed—two great looks!  This cute bag is just the right size for every day.  As you can see from the photos below, this bag can be left open for a curvy, expanded look or it can be snapped closed on the sides for a more compact look.  So versatile!! You can pick a beautiful print fabric for this purse or you can choose a solid fabric and embroider a favorite design.  You could even use a print for the back piece and the handles and a coordinating solid for the front.  Whatever inspires you!

There are three generous pockets on the inside but you could easily add three more if you wish.  The stability for this bag comes from sew-in foam stabilizer by the name of either Bosal In-R-Foam or Soft and Stable, which we have plenty of here at the store.  The bag measures 12”W x 91/2”H x 6”D with sides snapped and 18”W x 91/2”H x 6”D with sides un-snapped.

The cost for this two-day class is $20.  We have the pattern at the store available for $10.  I hope you can join us for two days of bag sewing fun!

*For fabric, make sure you have 42” of useable width and choose a lightweight canvas or a good quilters cotton*
