Do you hate to drag around your purse at sewing events and quilt shows?

When you go into the city, wouldn’t you like to keep your cash and credit card close.

Then come to this class and we will make this cute little Serger Neck Purse.  This purse has two pockets. It is so easy to make you will be serging them for all your friends. You will find yourself grabbing this  purse for any shopping adventure.

Material List

  • Your Serger (or borrow one of ours)
  • Ready, Set, Serge book  by Georgie Melot. We have them at the store.
  • ¼ yd fabric A
  • ¼ yd fabric B
  • ¼ yd fabric C
  • ¼ yd fabric D
  • 4 cones of coordination serger thread
  • 1 yd length of cording or decorative thread ex: Décor 6, Pearl Crown Rayon
  • Tape
  • Seam sealant

I used a pack of coordinating fat quarters. For the cord I couldn’t find cording to match my fabric so I used pearl crown rayon and Décor 6 on my serger. I serged 3 yards of trim and braided them. I liked the way it came out.
