This was one of the most enjoyable embroidery projects we have ever done! You might wonder how the stitches in the embroidery designs hold onto the screen material so well, but with just the proper stabilization, your designs will seem to float over your bag!

Got a serger? Got feet that you don't know how to use. Noreen (our resident serger queen) will be doing a lecture-demo on the six most popular serger feet (Elastic, Blind Hem, Beading, Gathering and Piping). A must class for anyone who has (or wants) a serger.

Would you like to try heirloom sewing? It is a very pretty and vintage technique letting you design special “heirloom” projects all by using your sewing machine. With a few different sewing needles and sewing feet, a pillow like this is very easy to make! This technique can be used many different ways and once you master it, I am sure you will enjoy thinking up ways to incorporate it into your sewing. Looking forward to seeing you in class!
